Youth Groups

If you are a Band Booster Club, JROTC Group, Church Youth Group or any other group that serves high school aged students you will find many benefits for your students from this program including the following:
The opportunity to gain real world, hands on experience in working as a team, following “easy to understand” organized (video) instructions to arrange, plan and produce an excellent quality company picnic for hundreds of employees and family members of a local plant or industry. From the lucrative monies that your group earns from this your students will see, firsthand, that doing something important, and doing it very well, also pays very well.
This is a very fun venture that is meticulously organized; no strong manual labor is involved. There are simple, easy instructions on YouTube that shows everyone what to do and how to do it, from A to Z.

Here are the steps involved in this partnership:

1

Establishing your group as a partner in this program is as simple as completing the fist first 4 steps listed here, To begin your group will want to decide what the radius of your desired territory is. Groups in rural areas will sometimes want multiple counties where groups in very populated areas will only want areas very close by. Ideally, groups should use app. 30 miles as the maximum distance in their area.

2

Once the area has been determined, the next step is to identify the employers in your area that have 150 employees or more. Form several groups to contact the Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Development office or other local agencies who have this information.

3

Once you have this information, form several groups who contact these plants/industries/companies and obtain the email address of the Human Resources Manager. Companies will gladly provide this information to any local youth group.

4

Once your group has obtained the email addresses, form several groups who email a letter to these Human Resources Managers. This letter can be accessed and reviewed by clicking on this link below.Once these first 4 steps have been completed there is nothing else for your group to do until an event is scheduled, as you can see by reviewing steps 5-8.

5

When a company desires a quote they send the request directly to C&M where their request is serviced. The company names the group they are working with in the quote request. You can see how this works by clicking on this link:

6

Once that we receive the quote request from your customer we will email you and let you know that the request has come in. Once that you receive this notification from us you will send the a follow up letter to the Human Resources Manager. This letter can be accessed and reviewed by clicking on this link:

7

From this point C&M staff will handle all negotiations and enter into a contract with the company if an event is secured. Once the contract is finalized you will receive a copy of it and your group will choose an event coordinator (preferably an adult). This coordinator will communicate with our staff to cover any details for the event and then the training videos will be released to all of the students and adults involved in putting on the event.

8

The Company Picnic package requires 22 attendants to produce (adults and students). Every attendant has a number and a video showing them in very simple terms what they have to do. All attendants work in teams of 4 people. It only takes about 45 minutes to set up the event and events last 3 or 4 hours, to be decided by the customer.

9

Your group will receive $4,500 plus $1.20 per person if hot dogs, chips and drinks are added; a very lucrative amount for the work involved.

This information is just an overview of how the Community Partnership Program functions. If you would like more details on this program just complete the form below and submit it and one of our staff members will be in touch with you very shortly. We would love to work with your group and bring these special educational and financial benefits to your students. If this program isn’t something your group can accommodate at the present time please hand it off to another band booster club, J.R.O.T.C group, church youth group or any other group that serves the youth in your community so your youth and your local industries can both benefit from this program.
