Bear Claw Tent Stake Puller

PRODUCT INFORMATION:

  • The Bear Claw can be operated by using a 110 volt electric drill or a 24 volt cordless drill. Here at C&M Amusement where the Tent Tamer Tools were created, we have been renting tents for 49 years.

  • On our tent truck we have a generator, 2 good quality ½ in. electric drills and 2 Bear Claws. We choose the electric drills because they turn much faster than cordless drills which pulls the stakes much faster.

  • We give both of the men on our tent crews a Bear Claw so pulling tent stakes will become very short, easy work for both men.

  • Each end of the lift cylinder is painted red. This section is called “The Red Line”, it is a safety device that tells operators to stop drilling to ensure that any damage or injury is prevented.

  • For additional safety when using The Bear Claw, if you are using a drill with a clutch, do not set clutch to “drill” setting.

  • When using a cordless drill for Tent Tamer tools use a 6AH capacity battery or higher.

  • As with any cordless tool, always carry spare battery/batteries.

  • This demonstration video of the Bear Claw is done in Leesville, S.C. in Carolina red clay, the hardest type of soil to extract tent stakes from.

  • Rental owners are reporting that they are having a much easier time finding people willing to set up and take down tents using the Tent Tamer tools.
